Write to us about anything: a question, a problem, an idea or a privacy request. We read every message and reply as soon as we can.
Delete your account
You can delete your NYSA account at any time, right in the app:
- Open NYSA and tap Settings.
- Under Account, tap Delete my account.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted right away.
What gets deleted
- Your sign-in, your profile, your notification registration and all the chat messages you sent.
- If you are the only member of your family space, the whole family space and everything in it.
- If other members remain, the family space stays with them, and ownership passes to your partner.
Can't open the app? Write to hello@nysaapp.com from the email address you use in NYSA and we will delete your account for you. More details are in our Privacy Policy.
Common questions
Do my kids need an account or a phone?
No. Add them in People and they get their own column. You can add reminders about them, and NYSA reminds the grown-ups.
How do I invite my partner?
First add your partner in People. Then go to Settings → Invite your partner, enter their email address and send the invite by Messages. When they sign up with that email, the invite shows up in NYSA automatically. Invitations expire after 7 days.
My reminder didn't ring. What should I check?
Make sure notifications are allowed for NYSA in your iPhone's Settings → Apps → NYSA → Notifications, and that Push notifications is on in NYSA's Settings.
For reminders that must not be missed, choose Alarm (rings) when you add the reminder, and allow NYSA to use alarms when your iPhone asks. Alarms ring full screen, even on silent. A Focus mode can quiet regular notifications, so check that too.
How does the family chat turn messages into reminders?
When a message names a plan and a specific day or time, like "Dentist Wednesday at 3pm", NYSA adds the reminder for you and shows Reminder added under the message, with an Undo button. For other dates, tap Add reminder under the message. This all happens on your iPhone; your messages are not sent to any AI service.
What is the evening catch-up?
One short summary of the plans that are still open, sent once a day. Turn it on or off and pick the time in Settings → Evening catch-up.
Who can see my family's reminders and messages?
Only the members of your family space. There are no ads, no tracking and no selling of your data. Read the Privacy Policy for the details.

Which iPhones does NYSA work on?
NYSA works on iPhones with iOS 26 or later.
